Start with the visit constraints already held in Salesforce

Healthcare visits can involve appointment windows, site-access rules, target priorities, call notes, and territory assignments. The route should use the fields and records approved by the organisation rather than a generic list of addresses.

  • Strict visit windows and hospital access rules
  • High-value targets that must be visited on schedule
  • Call notes and sample management tied to each visit
  • Territory alignment with sales targets
  • Compliance with local pharma regulations

Test the full data flow

Tourvia is installed as a Salesforce managed package. Salesforce remains the system of record, while the minimum coordinates and timing constraints required for route calculation are processed by Tourvia infrastructure in France as described in the DPA.

The product can create Salesforce Events and record GPS-assisted check-in information. Those records support the customer's reporting process; Tourvia does not determine regulatory compliance.

A weekly route workflow inside Salesforce

The planning cycle below uses only Salesforce records and standard Tourvia functions:

  1. Filter targets by last visit date, priority, or territory on the map, for example every HCP not visited in 4 weeks.
  2. Set the day's constraints: start and end location, visit duration, appointment windows, lunch break.
  3. Run the optimization and review the proposed sequence on the map before confirming.
  4. Confirm the route: Tourvia creates the Salesforce Events on the rep's calendar.
  5. On site, the rep checks in from mobile and files the visit report (result, next action, notes), which lands on the Salesforce record for the organisation's own reporting.

Run a representative trial

Use the 30-day trial with the objects, permissions, territories, and visit rules that the team will use in production. Continued access costs €30 excluding tax per licensed user per month, billed annually.

Frequently asked questions

Can pharma reps plan visits to healthcare professionals from Salesforce?

Yes. Tourvia plans routes from the Salesforce records the organisation approves, including Accounts and Contacts for healthcare professionals and pharmacies, with time windows and visit duration as constraints. The optimized route becomes Salesforce Events on the rep's calendar.

Where is pharma field data processed with Tourvia?

Salesforce remains the system of record. The minimum coordinates and timing constraints required for route calculation are processed by Tourvia infrastructure in France (OVHcloud, Gravelines), as described in the DPA. Visit reports and check-ins are recorded in your Salesforce org.

Does Tourvia handle pharma regulatory compliance?

Tourvia records visits, check-ins, and outcomes as Salesforce records that support the customer's own reporting and compliance process. Tourvia does not determine regulatory compliance; your compliance team validates the process against local pharma regulations.

How much does Tourvia cost for a pharma field team?

€30 excluding tax per licensed user per month, billed annually (€360 per user per year). A 30-day trial is available to test routes, Event creation, mobile visits, permissions, and reporting with your Salesforce admin.
